For those of you who have been following the ongoing development of Fenix 2.0, you've probably heard about this thing Juran and I have been working on for a while to replace the current system of ranking up that is already available at spawn. The first iteration of the script presented some problems, such as it's inherent inability to adjust permissions correctly if you're a donator, consistency when ranking up (skipping ranks, accidentally demoting one's self) and so on. So, over the past few months I've been working on a second iteration that solves these issues through the magic of scripting. However... Over that period of time, Juran and I have encountered an innumerable amount of bugs (*all of which, by the way, have been sorted out) *hopefully You may recall about a week ago, the script was purported to be finished and working, and you may have even seen the new rankup area with a single rankup sign that was built to facilitate the new script. The good news about that script is it worked. The bad news was, it worked for about five minutes and then broke literally everything. So needless to say, I've been in overdrive trying to hack my way around a solution to what seemed to be a flaw in the plugin itself. I will spare you the boring details, but I am happy to announce my confidence in this third implementation of the rankup script that has kept us in 'beta' mode for so long.You should expect to see the script implemented VERY soon. If not, I'll update you all here on why that is. MOST IMPORTANTLY: If you see any bugs with the rankup script once it is implemented, please please please make a post here, or, '/mail send' Juran or I in game about the problem you've found. | |
