Server Update Progress!

Of course, we'll be updating to 1.8 on this new map etc. Which means all the plugins will have to be updated as well. This thread deals with what has been done along those lines etc, and I will keep it updated as I move along.


So far, I have completed.

Get a functional 1.8 spigot server!
Customize the 1.8 spigot server for maximum performance possible without sacrificing playability. Mobs stuck in confined spaces... shouldn't particularly be a problem anymore.

Also tested briefly, the hopper bug, as well as the spigot block lag bug have also been repaired.

Essentials is now installed!

Also, to answer questions that were being made, yes this is spigot 1.8, complete and full 1.8 features, including new blocks, new world generation, and bunnies.

Btw, the bunnies are cute.

YES! After fighting with essentials not wanting to work (They haven't updated to 1.8, and don't even recognize 1.8 as a version yet) I finally got essentials to work, as well as essentials group manager, which just happens to be our permissions plugin.

Sooo now we got the plugins that do

World Edit, as well as World Guard has been installed and adapted to work with 1.8 structure!

A new plugin as well, World Guard Fix, has also been installed to adapt world guard to be able to function in a 1.8 environment.
