Inspection Plugin

Ok, so lately, a lot of places have been griefed or griefed around... I can name 5 places off the top of my head. So, to resolve this, I believe that the server should get some sort of inspection plugin... A plugin to identify exactly who is doing all of this damage.

Around my town, Crispin, a person dug up a 50x50 area for dirt... right outside my town region...

Someone has been griefing Oasis's tree farm...

Someone took all the dirt off a hill side right outside of Bunker Hill...

Anyone see a reoccurring problem here?

Agreed, this is an issue that definitely needs to be addressed. Maybe some rules need to be implemented here as well, such as a "No-Greif" radius around a town, or an excessive greifing rule.

Okay, we have decided to at least temporarily add a block logger (Inspection) plug-in to the server.  We will see how it does as for lag, etc.  We do note however that griefing is permitted on the server.  Without griefing it is pointless to have protected land.  So the block logger will let us know who is doing the griefing, and we will make that information public so the community can work together to resolve whatever needs to be resolved.

I will note that we will not be using this to chase after, and persecute every little instance of theft, or grief.  We are only interested in chasing down, and resolving large and/or repeated griefing that could be defined as harassment.
